Providing a consistent flow of high-quality product from grower to buyer to
consumer is the pulse of our produce business. Four Seasons combines a
long-standing heritage in produce distribution, extensive knowledge in customer
operations and the most modern facilities and technology for distribution of
fresh products to customers. We are continually expanding our precision network
to sustain consistency, while fostering innovation and versatility in an
ever-shifting business climate.
Supply Chain Distribution & Technology
Four Seasons Produce, Inc. serves in excess of 1,400 customers weekly with over 3000
SKUs with a fill rate in 2005 of 99.65 percent. Our operations are housed in a
262,000-square foot facility with over 190,000-square feet of cold storage that
includes 176-foot long storage aisles storing 6,700 pallets of product at
various temperatures. The facilities include 35 dock doors for trucks, and the
ability to receive railcar loads of fresh produce from the West Coast, as well
as 40,000-square feet devoted to packaging solutions for conventional and
organic products.
Our web-based business tools allow our business partners to do everything from
placing orders to viewing ad planners and monitoring delivery schedule. The
efficiencies created by our modern facility and the implementation of warehouse
management software and web-based technology supports our high level of
customer service.
